My wedding photo & Video Package

so you’ve decided on a photographer for your wedding, why add a videographer?

I decided to write a little blog to help couples with their decision in having a Wedding Videographer working alongside the Wedding Photographer.

From my personal experience with my own wedding in 2019, after booking the photographer I was initially reluctant to look at having a videographer with us on the day, my now wife Sarah nudged me about it a good few times and eventually we did book a wedding videographer and all I can say is, I was wrong - I've watched our video so many times, its great to relive the day through both formats of photography and video.

While many couples understand the importance of having a professional photographer at their wedding, some may overlook the benefits of hiring a videographer. While it may seem like an unnecessary expense, having a videographer can be a valuable addition to your wedding day. Here are some reasons why you should consider hiring a videographer for your wedding:

  • Reliving the Moment

Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life, and it can go by in a blur. A videographer can capture all the important moments of your day, from getting ready to your first dance, and create a video that allows you to relive those moments for years to come. You can watch your wedding video on your anniversaries and share it with your children and grandchildren.

  • Capturing Emotion

While photos can capture a moment in time, videos can capture the emotions of the day. A videographer can capture the speeches, vows, and reactions of your guests in a way that a photo cannot. You'll be able to see and hear the love and happiness that surrounded you on your special day.

  • Sharing with Family and Friends

Your wedding video is a wonderful way to share your day with family and friends who were unable to attend your wedding. You can share your video on social media, through email or text, or even have a private viewing party with your loved ones. It's a great way to include those who were unable to be there with you on your special day.

  • Professional Editing

A professional videographer knows how to edit your wedding video to make it look its best. They can add music, transitions, and special effects to create a video that is truly unique to you and your partner. They can also create shorter highlight videos that are perfect for sharing on social media or with friends and family.

  • Unique Perspective

A videographer can capture your wedding from a unique perspective. They can use drones or other equipment to capture aerial shots, time-lapse videos, and other special effects that will make your video stand out. They can also capture moments that you may have missed, like the reactions of your guests during the ceremony.

In conclusion, while a professional photographer is essential for your wedding day, a videographer can add an extra layer of emotion and memories that you'll cherish for years to come. A wedding video is a unique way to capture the essence of your day, and can be shared with loved ones for years to come. If you're still undecided, take some time to watch wedding videos online and imagine yourself in the same position - it may just be the deciding factor you need to hire a videographer for your big day.
