Sitting on the border of Lancashire and Greater Manchester you’ll find Ashfield House, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of daily life down an unassuming driveway just off Wigan Road, Standish.

As an independent family business, you really feel like you are at a home from home, its a world away from a hotel wedding - the home is solely yours for the entirety of your day, you’ll be surrounded by a fantastic close-knit team for who nothing is too much trouble.

Even as a supplier, the team at Ashfield House really go out of the way to make you feel at home. (thanks for the breakfast Leanne!) my love for this venue grows every time I work here, its certainly in my top 3 wedding venues, if I could work here every day - I absolutely would.

I’ve just delivered the sample images to Charlotte and James of their gorgeous wedding at Ashfield House last weekend, the weather could not have been better!

They chose to get married at a church nearer to home, returning to Ashfield House for the reception, but not without a stop to visit Charlotte’s horse and James’ motorbike before hand!
